Purpose of the Newsletter
The SDSUG Newsletter is the organization’s official institutional communication channel, providing members and the broader community with updates on governance, events, opportunities, and developments in the field of digital safety and security.
About the Newsletter
Sonoran Desert Security (SDSUG) is a practitioner‑focused cybersecurity community exploring artificial intelligence (AI), emerging and disruptive technologies (EDT), post‑quantum cryptography (PQC), and quantum computing.
SDSUG is social without the social media — real practitioners, real conversations, real community.
The SDSUG Newsletter is published periodically to:
- Share institutional updates — governance, initiatives, and organizational direction
- Highlight upcoming events — meetings, workshops, conferences
- Showcase community contributions — research, projects, collaborations
- Provide opportunities — scholarships, internships, calls for participation
- Strengthen continuity — maintaining a stable, professional voice
