SDSUG Canonical Seal Package – Official Identity Standards

The SDSUG Canonical Seal is the formal, authoritative emblem of SDSUG. This page documents the official specifications, usage standards, and governance rules that ensure the seal’s integrity across all institutional, archival, and public applications.

Refined SDSUG logo featuring one green saguaro cactus, circuit board, and a golden sunset, crossed by defensive sword and shield plus a golden skeleton key representing legacy to modern encryption.
The official emblem of SDSUG, uniting the original desert‑landscape identity with a timeless, world‑class seal. Circuitry, crossed swords, shields, and a skeleton key reinterpret classical symbols of protection through a modern cryptographic lens. This emblem honors SDSUG’s origins while preparing the institution for the future of defense in artificial intelligence (AI); cybersecurity, governance, risk and compliance (GRC); hybrid threats; post‑quantum cryptography (PQC); quantum computing; and emerging technologies.
